Ashleigh gazed around. Her eyes took in the big, dry, empty dessert. This was all so new to her. The hot, beaming sun shinning down on her. The long, overwheling field of nothingness. She couldn't help but wonder how she got here. She had no clue of her surroundings, but she didn't care where she was, she just wanted to get home. She forseen only one prolem, She didn't which way was home. She started walking, not sure of her direction, until she stumled across something on the ground. Ashleigh walked a little further, until she reached the unknown artifact. She bent down to pick it up and relized what it was. It was an old cut up piece of card board with some white and black wrighting on it, A sign maybe? On the sign were the words Dakota Desert. Ashleigh, finally relizing her location, looked up at the blue-grey sky. She noticed it was starting to get dark so she started off to look for a place where she could sleep, and start fresh in the morning. Though she was still confused as to how she had gotten here,She had a little bit of hope. She is determined to get home, one way or another.
Hollie gazed around. her eyes took in the dusty look of the hot desert. she took a breath. she never seen anything that looked so dead. the trees were without leaves the ground was splintering into cracks because theres no moisture. Hollie walked a litlle futher. bent over to grab a handful of sand. She watched it slowly seap through the cracks of her fingers. Everything around her was so dead and lifeless but then again she finally felt at peace. she looked at the cloudless blue sky, the sun nearly blinding her. Hollie glances around and whispers in astonishment "Unbelievable". To think that that there was a place on this earth that could be so dead and lifeless. The starkness of the thought clogged her throat with tears. She takes a step back sits on the scortching hot ground and said "finally im all alone"
Michael gazed around, his eyes taking in the blood stained sand, a barren wastland laid to waist by soldiers and there ravenous ways. A few of his comradds where still firing their weapons into the canyon. Michael walked carfully forward. A bullet ricochted off the tree next to him making the whole thing creek and fall over onto another soldier, who cried out in agony.Micheal bent over and tried at the tree but it wouldent budge. Micheal study the tree carfully and noticed the burns that covered it, either from the intence heat of the desert or from various weaponry used on the battle feild.there were a few casings scattered around it and a gun or two half buried in the sand. Michael called out desperatly " MEDIC, I NEED A MEDIC!" he bent and grabbed the downed soldiers hand and said "You'll be ok, just stay with us."
Tyler gazed around. His eys took in the desolate, dry, and vast desert that he was standing in. He took off in a sprint when a snake slithered by. He stopped by a dying tree to rest. Tyler walked a little farther after his breather. He bent down and grabbed a handful of sand. He let it sift through his fingers. He felt terrified that he was going to die at this moment in time. Tyler looked to the sky and called out "Where am I?" He let himself fall to the ground. He rolled onto his side and whispered to himself, "Help me. . . please" Tyler Haggard -Tyler Haggard w-8
Garrett gazed around. His eyes took in the barren landscape. It seemd no matter where he looked, as far as he could see, there was sand. Nothing but hot, golden-brown sand and the occasional dead plant or cactus. Garrett looked up into the blue sky, there was not a cloud in sight. He would have given anything for a white cloud that would give him even a little shade.
Garrett walked a little further. He bent down and picked up a small dead branch from a nearby bush. The branch was dead the outer part cracked and small pieces fell to the ground. The stick was hot from sitting in the sun. Garrett wondered how long it had been there, how long the bush had been dead. There was no water in the middle of this lonely desert. Garrett realized he was alone, only with the hot sand and empty sky. Garrett looked to the sky and called out, "When will I get out of this desert?" His voice was raspy and hoarse. There was no response to Garrett's question. He cried out a second time and this time his voice was faint. -Garrett Bebout
Hailley gazed around. Her eyes took in the scenery like a predator zeroing in on his prey. The first thing she noticed was the almost white, dry sand. It seemed to go on for miles, stretching past where the sun met the horizon, almost as if it was part of the sky altogether. Few things stood in the way of this perfect, stark scenery – prickly cactuses, dead tumbleweed, and the occasionally lizard or snake that slithered past. Besides that, it was almost empty.
Hailley walked a little further then. She bent down and picked a lizard up by its tail and studied it. It was small, with a long tail and dry, sandpapery-rough skin. There were spots along its slender body, black on dark green. The lizard writhed in her hand. It emitted a quiet sound as it looked to her, and with the wary, dead look it gave her, she set it back down on the ground.
Hailley looked to the sky and called out, “is anybody there?” Her voice rang out loud and clear, and it seemed to echo, stretching on as far as the desert itself. When there came no response, she gave a shutter of a sigh and dropped low to sit down. It was hot, but somehow peaceful still. She almost didn’t mind that she might have been stranded for a few days. She closed her eyes and laid her head back to let the sun warm her face. Maybe she could handle this – for now.
Nicole gazed around. Her eyes took in a amount of bareness. She looked around saw a tumbleweed blow past her. She looked down; saw no grass, no puddles of water, just dry land. It was so hot that she felt faint. The air was still and dry. In the stillness she noticed something, something moving toward the cactus. Nicole walked a little further. She bent and picked up a small creature and examined it. It was small, yet firm with yellow and black spots everywhere. Small thristy eyes, long tail, petite feet; it was a lizard trying to nibble a hole out of the cactus. The lizard didn't look like it had had anything to drink in awhile. Nicole helped the poor, thristy lizard open the cactus to get a drink of water. Nicole looked up in the bright, sunny, pitiless sky and noticed there wasn't any clouds insight. She called out, "Is there anybody out here? Does anyone have aything to drink?!" There was no response, and then she knew there was nothing around except an old, dry, leaveless tree. Nicole panicked. She ran back and forth in fear, crying; screaming. At that moment, her alarm went off and she woke up to go to school. Nicole Boggs
Jared gazed around. His eyes took in the hot snady desert. It was a hot, dry sandy day in the desert. Jared walked a little further. He bent and picked up a piece of partially ripped clothing. It looked torn and scatered. He was looking for a child that had gone missing in this vicinity. Jared looked to the sky and called out "Where are you!?" hoping that the child would hear. In fear and sorrow. he carefully built a shack hoping that the child would see it so he could take the child back home safely. Sighing in exhaustion, Jared sat down to wait as long as the child was missing.
