Annie gazed around. Her eyes took in the disgusting, unsanitary, murky water, and the filth that laid in front of her. The beach was deserted. No one in sight. There was trash everywhere. The shoreline was full of paper, bottles, and cans. Annie walked a little further. She bent down and picked up an empty plastic bottle and studied it very closely. It was covered in coarse sand. There was a variety of trash everywhere. Annie looked up at the clear blue sky and called out, "Why is this beach so dirty?" She later went home to get some gloves and trash bags. She came back and started working. She worked for a week trying to get the beach clean again. By the end of the week she was satisfied. There were actually people starting to come to the beach again.
Rebecca gazed around. Her eyes took in the beach, that at one time has been very beautiful and populated with hundreds of people. Now it was a waste land with buch of garbage and dead fish. Looking out at the grayish ocean, Rebecca remembered the summer days she spent on this beach with her family and friends. She stood there hoppong that one day her favorite place in the world would become beautiful again. Rebecca walked a little further. She picked up a dirty sea shell and studied it. She remembered the the day she and her mother collected sea shells on this beach. She remembered all the different kinds of shells she there where. She remembered how each one was different shapes, sizes, and color. She wished she could go back to those days when the beach was beautiful. Rebecca looked at the sky and called out "I remember when you were so bueatiful why aren't you the same now?!" She felt anger at all the people who would leave there trash on this once serene beach. She wondered why people would do that to such a wonderful place. She wondered why it had to be her favorite place in the world. It was that moment when that Rebecca decided to make the beach beautiful again. She wanted everyone to see the place that would be beautiful. With determination, she set to work.
